Here’s some REAL COMPUTER PROBLEMS COMPLAINTS HEARD BY VARIOUS
COMPUTER TECHNICIANS. This is an excerpt from a Wall Street Journal
article:

1. Compaq is considering changing the command “Press Any Key” to
“Press Return Key” because of the flood of calls asking where the
“Any” key is.

2. AST technical support had a caller complaining that her mouse was
hard to control with the dust cover on. The cover turned out to be the
plastic bag the mouse was packaged in.

3. Another Dell customer called to say he couldn’t get his computer to
fax anything. After 40 minutes of troubleshooting, the technician
discovered the man was trying to fax a piece of paper by holding it in
front of the monitor screen and hitting the “Send” key.

4. Yet another Dell customer called to complain that his keyboard no
longer worked. He had cleaned it by filling up his tub with soap and
water and soaking the keyboard for a day, then removing all the keys
and washing them individually.

5. A Dell technician received a call from a customer who was enraged
because his computer had told him he was “bad and an invalid.” The
tech explained that the computer’s “bad command” and “invalid”
responses shouldn’t be taken personally.

6. A confused caller to IBM was having trouble printing documents. He
told the technician that the computer had said it “couldn’t find
printer.” The user had also tried turning the computer screen to face
the printer-but that his computer still couldn’t “see” the printer.

7. An exasperated caller to Dell Computer Tech Support couldn’t get
her new Dell Computer to turn on. After ensuring the computer was
plugged in, the technician asked her what happened when she pushed the
power button. Her response, “I pushed and pushed on this foot pedal
and nothing happens.” The foot pedal” turned out to be the computer’s
mouse.

8. Another customer called Compaq tech support to say her brand new
computer wouldn’t work. She said she unpacked the unit, plugged it in
and sat there for 20 minutes waiting for something to happen. When
asked what happened when she pressed the power switch, she asked,
“What power switch?”

9. Another IBM customer had trouble installing software and rang for
support “I put in the first disk, and that was OK. It said to put in
the second disk, and had some problems with the disk. When it said to
put in the third disk, I couldn’t even fit it in…” The user hadn’t
realized that “Insert Disk 2 meant to remove Disk 1 first.

10. A woman called the Canon help desk with a problem with her
printer. The tech asked her if she was running it under “Windows.” The
woman responded, No, my desk is next to the door. But that is a good
point. The man sitting in the cubicle next to me is under a window and
his printer is working fine.

My biggest and oldest website got hacked yesterday! It pissed me off so much cuz I spend all night putting everything back together.. Cuz my website is an arabic photogallery.. it was hacked and all my pics were deleted! .. so I had a backup from november.. from now on I am backing up every week.. this is getting rediculous.. getting hacked by some idiot from IRAN! Stupid persians! I hate them!

I been on the down low the past couple of days.. I just not feeling the good old me.. I go to work.. I barely work and my plan today and tomorrow to get some work done.. cuz I feel useless.. oh.. did I mention I am getting paid 500 dollars extra a month cuz they screwed up my pay.. or wait.. I got an instant raise. I did complain about it when I noticed that bug in the system. I complained to three people. One financial officer.. my boss, and the secretary.. so what happned? nothing.. I am getting paid extra cuz of that error.. now I will just keep laughing month after month of this stupidity.. i can’t be blamed for it.. i am not stealing money or hid the fact that there was this other.. i was pretty open and blunt about it anyways..
oh well.. other then that.. i been feeling down.. i just have not cared too much to talk to anyone or see anyone.. just go to work.. that’s all i do.. and go home.. i quit msn and i quit people in general.. they give me a headache and i feel people only talk to me just to use me for what they need.. no real friends anymore.. just users..

Haven’t seen this much snow since like December. Not even. Tomorrow it will be cooler too.. brrr.. :P

Anyways.. I am at work now.. doing some CSS research. I need to get my site to work on all browsers.. It will suck but it is doable.. hopefully.. Other then that.. I have been low key lately. I don’t want to use msn anymore. Or chat much. I just been feeling down and I don’t want to talk to anyone that much. But anyone is free to email me and say hi to me. I promise to email back. I am up to that.
I want to listen to new songs. But the songs on mazikana.com are sucky lately. Or maybe just Arabic singers are sucky.. .. oh well..

I honestly don’t know.. my friend deep down inside him hates me. I know it. And I am sick of him. Really I am. He is no friend if he ignores me wa shayef 7alo 3alaya.. I am tired of it and I am moving on. He can’t even treat me as a good friend. He would treat every one else with respect except me! I hate it! !!

aah.. boring day.. I woke up this morning with an awsome dream. I dreamt I got this new job and I am the manager.. and I got so many employees and the company is making so much money cuz of my skills and talents. It’s amazing. I wish it was real. Oh well.. it’s just a dream..

Other than that… it’s been a quiet day.. I didn’t do much other then watch TV.. tomorrow I will get my PCMCIA CD rom for my awsome little laptop.. that will be sweet.. then I will install windows on it and make it my private little mobile friend!! Can’t wait..

Yes.. they are so racist. I was in arablounge and some fucked up lebanese guy messages me saying.. You know what your problem is? I was like huh? What.. He is like ur only problem is that “your Palestenian”.. I was like are you for real.. then I had to strike back and say your only problem that your Christian and Lebanese… no offence to any lebs or chrisitians out there.. but that guy was just an ASS!

It’s hard when you try so hard to be friends with someone. To treat someone well and always ask and care about them.. and they don’t give a shit about you. At all. It’s like ok.. they are still alive.. back to my own life.. It’s sad. I am sick of it. I am sick of people like that. No one cares anymore. All selfish people out there. I don’t understand why. Why are people selfish and mean. Why people now a days care about themselves and forget the whole world around them? I am just tired of people like that I want to meet someone who cares. Some who just want to be a friend. To actually act like a decent friend. Why can’t I find such a good person. Anyways. I will stop complaining about something that will never happen. People out there. Stop being SELFISH! It’s not appealing!

Waste of time. I did nothing productive today.. at all. Sometimes I hate my job because it is so boring. I get these times where I just want to snap from the boredom and waste of time I have to endure for 8 hours a day. I spend half my waking hours, even more at my work. Aah.. anyways.. I am over that now. I will quit complaining. Try to make life a bit more fun on my side. I just bought my self a Caffee Latte from star bucks. NO Sugar at all.. Discuting. So I had to add a lot! Aah..I won’t buy this again. I will stick to my caffe mocha. Best thing in star bucks realy..!!

anyways.. I am tired.. I want to do some readings.. then go to sleep.. I mean it.. sleep on the table..
