Dreaming of words
Lately I have been dreaming of wierd things.. I know sharing my dreams online is crazy.. but I need explanations.. I always have these bizaar dreams that I am reading something outloud. And it makes perfect sence.. one dream I was reading a paper. I don’t know if it was a letter or note. I cannot remember.. but I was like reading it outloud.. and it was plain english.. I wish I can remember what was written.. then the other day I was stuck trying to code something. That same night I dreamt of code.. I mean really.. the answers to my complicated coding question.. this time someone was showing me a computer screen with the solution.. and I was looking at it.. like full view.. but when I wake up in the morning or leave that wierd semi-unconcious state I cannot remember what I read.. but I remember reading it because it made perfect sense. No doubt about that. I was not freaked out but more intrigued in finding out what was written.. hmm..
Maybe I am just going crazy! lol I have wierd dreams.. I wish I had a scientific dream where I found a cure for an obscure disease! wouldn’t that help a lot of people!

One time when I was living in Taiwan I had a dream in Chinese, which I barely speak–but I really think that I was speaking it correctly in my dream.
I also had a dream that I was reading a very interesting book the other night. I wish I could remember it and write it down! I’ve dreamt that I was reading before, but I’ve never been able to get very far, probably because my mind couldn’t produce the text. Either the page would look blurry or the words stopped making sense. But this time I was reading pages and pages!
Sorry I can’t tell you what this all means.
so I am not the only one!! that is good to know that is may be a common type of dream.. maybe I will look it up!
OK If anyone can dream next weeks NJ lottery numbers and e-mail them to me..I’ll pay for any Dream counselling you may need!! LOL I once dreamed I ate a giant marshmallow..when I woke up my pillow was gone…Go Figure! Have a great weekend all!!
Hello Mona,
I’m a retired aerospace engineer (63 yrs old now). While working in a Research & Development section I would occasionally have creative, insightful dreams. Our subconscious minds are really quite intelligent and extremely artsy and creative. Try to realize that you are dreaming when you are dreraming. If you work on it you will be able to start dresming what they call “lucid” dreams. They are dreams that fall between the conscious and unconscious levels of our dreamstate. Put a pen and paper next to your bed. When you have a lucid dream, try to wake up and write it down. Using this method I invented a new concept in aircraft fasteners….it was developed and made the company millions. I got my usual salary from it (sad huh?)…try it though. Keith
