That’s the question!! my sister’s friend is getting rid of their cat and my sister is going crazy.. she wants it so bad!! and mom said no.. but dad and my bro said yes.. lool but my mom is like 
no way type of lady.. lol.. we will see how long the crying and complaining from my sister will last till she gets that cat!! hahahaa..

How about a probationary period initially? its good that its a known cat to your sister’s friend, worth asking if it likes to use the furniture for claw sharpening.
mom kept saying no till no tomorrow!! it was hilarious. it was an all day fight over to get a cat or not.. my mom was pretty mad.. she said NO NO NO NO!! I had to dumb down to my 10 years old sister’s level so she would understand that mom does not want walking animals in the house… 5 fishies are enough!!
I love the cat’s I have one in my house, but I understand your mother…nor all like cat’s in the house, are very work!!Cats needs much attention and cares every day too..Anyway goodluck to your sister, she needs!
