Let’s talk about Arabic Culture..

2/05/06 @ 8:55 am

Why is it that some educated guys like girls who are not educated.. They just want them to sit at home and have kids and do nothing.. and that is a gaurantee they marry them at a young age.. like I remember last summer or the summer b4 I cannot recall a 17 year old girl married a 32 year old guy.. why??? That is just wrong.. I don’t know why Arabic girls and families still think that way.. I mean common.. I am 25 and I got a good job.. I am self sufficient.. Can you imagine a guy making money and so does his wife!! You know.. that is a double income and a better life!! But noooooo.. Arabic mentallity.. so pathetic!!

You know, I’ve heard this complaint from women before–but I’ve never met a guy who said or implied that a uneducated women was more desirable than an educated one.

    Probably just the insecure guys.

I’m not gonna go bashing Arab men, I just won’t waste my breath doing so and unfortunately, most Arab men share that mentatlity, or some type of mentality where maintaing an inflated ego is the priority.. and I think the solution is very simple…don’t settle for an Arab guy, there are plenty of better fish in the see :)

Lol - Mona there are plenty of Arab guys out there who want educated women. While I don’t particularly agree with a 17 yr old girl marrying a 32 year old guy you will find that people have varying degrees of understanding as to what ‘education’ really is.

I know some people who say things like “well if you never went to an Ivy League college you pretty much don’t have an education”. Ivy League being universities like Harvard, Yale etc.

Bottom line is it depends on who you’re talking to …

Hello Youssuf, I know what you mean.. but some arabs here in canada are very old fashioned and very closed minded. It’s maybe the city I live in.. London is not tht great, and the Arabs here are very very old fashioned. Aah.. the nightmare of living here..

i lived both in canada and D.C and lemme tell american arabs and more open minded than canadian arabs…again maybe just the city, i dont like to generalize…. but no more how open minded an Arab man is, at the end of the day he still got arab blood and when he gets older he’ll be more and more like his arab ancesters, and dont forget even if the guy is open minded and what not, ahloh and his family momken yakuno the opposite!

    hey,
I just wanted to say that the comments you are leaving are kinda discriminating. Everyone has a right to an opinion, but I am going out with an arab and I am in university and so is he. He tells me that he has no problems with it and that most of the younger generation are quite open-minded.

Thanks for letting me voice my opinion

arab guys will play around with a non arab chick, have fun , brake her heart (dumb her) and when he wants to settle down he goes and ask to marry a girl who has never been touched by a man or even spoken to a man… so non arabs dating arab guys WATCH OUT
