Time well wasted..

Well.. it’s a new month.. Hopefully it would be better then the last horrible one.. July was an awful month.. I donno why.. but summers tend to be this way.. now august is here.. august is a more calming month.. it’s the end of a long heat manifistation.. Also the history of the word august is quite intriguing..

August was named in honor of Augustus. The month reputedly has 31 days because Augustus wanted as many days as Julius Caesar’s July. Augustus placed the month where it is because that is when Cleopatra died. Before Augustus renamed August in 8 BC, it was called Sextilis in Latin, since it was the sixth month in the Roman calendar which started in March.

Wow.. so it has been 8 months since I started this blog.. well since I revised this blog.. I had this blog for over a year and a half.. but I didn’t really start blogging and using it daily till december of last week.. I wonder if I should create a new template for my blog.. it is getting boring.. I want my theme to be more flowerly and happier!
