I remember back in the old days when I was a teen and a desktop computer costs a fortune.. at least 3000+ for a decent one.. and laptops were purchased by high class individuals who can afford the 5000+ price tag for the 10+ pound machine.. So now I see advertisements everywhere for laptops that are 600 or 499 or 799.. holy crap.. and they are brand new!! And desktop PC’s.. 399 or 499 for an AMD 64 athlon.. man.. I am hoping they make a new invention so the prices for these things drop so low like dvd players.. lol I even remember when DVD players first came out. They were expensive. Now you can get a DVD player that reads AVI’s and mp3z etc for 40 bucks.. even less.. haha.. So I want my next laptop to be high end little machine that I can also play games on with a price tag of less then $500..

of course i know a lot about computers.. i am a computer programmer… and computer liquidators sell used computers not that cheap.. i can get a brand new computer for $75-$150 more and it would 10 times faster!! :P

I have an mALX, and it’s 2.8 GHz…
all optional upgrades are on it, and I have all the accessories for it still. Absolutely perfect condition except for extremely minimal wear on the touchpad (I polish this thing every single day). I realize this is an old thread so u might already have one or you are looking at a different system, but if you are interested in this specific system still, Alienware doesn’t sell it anymore, and it can’t be found on ebay at all.
