I live in Ontario too and I voted in the advance polling in my region. Your right most people do not know what the hell they are voting for. Most of the people on the ballot I didn't even know who they were. In some categories, I had to go eeny meanie miny moe to pick someone. The candidates that were running were probably just out to feather their own nests. Where I live, regional candidates’ platforms don't get the media exposure as they do in Toronto. We don't have several different newspapers and television stations to show off the candidates and their platforms. We just have two crappy little newspapers that are just excuses to shove flyers in and one dorky little regional TV station with amateurish programming that is of very little interest to the general public. No wonder I didn't know who they were. I know more of what goes on in Toronto than I do in my own backyard thanks to lack of good local news coverage.
