The heat, the passion, the weight of history, the conscious ignorance, the laziness, the cheezy smiles, the terribly delicious food, and best of all, the family.

I am proud to be an Arab because of the Arabs history... the inventions that enlightened the west, the art and culture (specially during Al-Andalus era), the generosity of the Arabs, the hospitality, the hot-temper (how about Da7es wal Ghabra2),... HOWEVER, I am much more proud of my Arab ancestors than the contemporary Arabs, although you can still find some contemporary Arabs who stick to the original values of the Arab people.

Why I am friends with Arabs: The dignity with which they endure their calamities. Their honesty, which can admittedly be difficult to handle sometimes. The way I have seen them go the extra mile to offer assistance to those in need. Their sense of humor in the most unexpected of moments. A beautiful, strong group of people, mashaAllah.
