Spam makes me feel special. That’s why I HATE it!
Ok I am taking a breather from studying.. and I keep getting email notification. To my excitement I think it is someone who is human emailing me. On the contrary.. it’s everyone’s favourite emails. SPAM!
I really DESPISE spam. Although I get an average of 200 emails of SPAM on week days and about 100 on weekends (rough estimation).. That is just from one email account. My work account is another story.. but I got spam filter there in my thunderbird.. however.. spam sometimes makes me feel special. I feel sometimes that someone out there really likes to send me stuff to grab my attention. I get various emails. I get emails from celebrities, from people in Nigeria wanting to send me money if I give them my bank account, lottery winning, free microsoft software, and everyone’ favourite. PORN! ok whatever.. but the celebrity ones are my favourite cuz for a minute I think wow… Julia Roberts is a desperate looser emailing me. lol Also the depression drugs at great low prices.. that is classic.. I need VALIUM! Large quantities at reduced prices. But think about it for a minute. The more spam you get, the more popular you are. Now a days you ask people on a daily bases. How much spam you got today? I say 100.. another guy says I beat you! I got 150!.. daaaaaaaaam.. he beat me.. he is more special! 
This is what spam has become. A quantitative computation of the maximum number of crap you don’t want to read per day that some how makes you feel special. It’s amazing!
Also my blog.. I get lots and lots of spam to it too… and I have turned up my filter so it will catch more spam.. however, some older articles with certain key phrases or words that spam bots love are being spammed. So what do I do? I just remove commenting from that post. Who reads old posts anyways? I don’t! I don’t even read what I wrote yesterday. I don’t care! I write.. and I don’t look back.. but SPAM bots do!
So whom ever invented spam.. it’s just an ASS hole advertiser. A marketing scheme. Isn’t it enough we are forced to watch commercials and are sent flyers and stupid advertisment on a daily bases.. Not including phone calls.. that’s another STORY! I got spam phone calls to my cell phone! DAMN YOU PPL WHO HAVE MY MOBILE NUMBER! BURN IN HELL CUZ I WILL NEVER PICK IT UP! But EMAIL! Common.. I don’t want spam in my email. It’s a virtual world that I like to be in all the time.. I like the internet.. but now it is just another stupid ADVERTISING medium which is getting very boring to be a part of. Why can’t I go back to 1998 where I had my first hotmail account and the only emails I got are from this cute guy I used to chat with on IRC? looool
PS. I got spammed twice (mail filter didn’t catch) while I was writing this entry!

I hate picking up the ringing phone and hearing dead air than getting a beep beep in my ear. These telemarkters even leave beep beeps on my answering machine. I think o boy somebody left me a message when I see the answering machine blinking but instead it is just a beep beep. Spam on the other hand just ends up in my bulk folder and deleted. I usually quickly scan the spam to see if any legitimate ones ended up there but usually they don’t. I think my all time record was 275 spam or something. I usually get between 75 and a 100 a day on average.
Well don’t you feel special with all that spam!
