I could never figure out why some people wear shorts and sandals in the winter and then these same fools turn around and wear warm clothing in the summer. They got it in the reverse! I have to bundle up or I get a really bad cold unlike the weird people who seem to think it is tropical out when it is -30 Celsius out. I've lived in Canada all my life so I don't think it has anything to do with being acclimatized to Canada. Plus my ancestors came from north Western Europe so if anybody should be genetically equipped to deal with the cold it should be me but no I am no more genetically equipped than the average Saudi Arabian to deal with bone chilling temperatures. :P I know what you mean!
