Hi DxBrose,

I know Arabic.. and you are right. It could just be the way we interpret what they write But some of them it is obvious that it is the opposite extreme! :Ouch:

Hey there!
Very intresting topic! I know exactly what you mean, you read people's blog and they give you the impression that they are something that they are not and you only figure that out when you talk to them and get to know them and or even worse when you meet them. You totally do not expect them to be in that way but I wouldn't say its because they are lying and trying to be something that they are not, it could be because they are not able to get thier point clearly or we interpret what we read from thier blogs differently. For example, someone may read my blog and think I am a shy person and someone else may read it and think im an outgoing person. So really to some extent only it depends on how you read other people's blog. But still there are some 'chathaabeen' (lairs - im not sure if you know arabic lol) who try to be opposite what they are. I really think people who are like that are mentally ill, they have an image or idea of what they would like to be but they are not able to achieve it in real life so they use the online world as an alternative.

I can totally relate to what you are saying, and yes- some people write the opposite of who they are.
It's unbelievable! And this can be a real shock! I really wonder how can they be a pro in hiding themselves behind a blog that reflects what they are NOT. But the more I think of it, the more i realize that this also can happen in real life. Without even a blog.

And for the ones who reflect the true them in their blog, this- I consider an accomplishment, cause few people do this to be honest!

I totally agree with that. I'm a very quiet, studious, shy, happy-seeming type in real life. However, online, I often seem like a vindictive, judgemental, angry, depressed teenager fed up with school.

I think you gave a different impression in your video q&a than in you do in writing, btw.
