Why be in love?

10/03/07 @ 10:57 pm

crazy loveI have been sitting here thinking of the meaning of love. What is love? Who defined it? How can anyone define something so convoluted? To me I think it is the strangest feeling that anyone can experience. Once you get to that stage of loving someone, it just becomes an uncontrollable feeling. A feeling that you cannot understand. And once it is gone.. life becomes like a dark cloud; always gloomy.

That is just an explanation of the two extremes.

Being in love with someone or breaking up.

However, what happens when it is only a one sided love? What happens when you love someone so much and they just don’t feel the same way about you? What will you do? How long can you live that way? That is the hardest kind of love. It is very painful. Probably the worst kind of love.

So why is love so great? It is only great if it is positively working out, but that is not the case for so many people. Not everyone is the same.

when people ‘fall in love’ with someone, they mostly have no idea what is happening to them, deep down. Read more here: http://love-of-1.blogspot.com

I guess that last sentence said it all.. love is not always great, it’s great when all the cirumstances are right and supporting, when there’s no place for troubles and if it ever happen then will be easily solved and when it’s mutual.. if it’s from one side then it’s not love.. it’s torture! :icecream:

Hello there, came across your nice blog via Facebook (Bloggers of Arabia group to be precise)

Well, I am going through the motions regardig the same crappy issue, LOVE! It’s one-sided nowadays with me, while it was mutual and amazing before that… When one takes you and your love for granted they don’t bother anymore about you or how you feel, because to them, no matter what they do, it won’t hurt you because you’re lost in their world… It was off the hook initially, when both of us were scared to death of losing each other, but after that only one half was the one worried and the other couldn’t give a flying carrot anymore

Love takes you places, makes you feel so good about yourself and everything, it’s about compromise and not letting small things get in the way… I miss being in a relationship with mutual love and appreciation, but now, I hate it as much as you do… Unconditional love is only in myths, I think I will never find it… *sigh*
