Killing the past.

I came in this morning to work. I looked at my desk and I looked at this plush bear I have on my desk. I sat there and thought why do I still have it there. He gave it to me 4 years ago. And all I did this morning was hold it. Twist it. Hoping it will rip by the twisting. Than I looked at it and thought. What did this bear do to deserve this treatment. Because it was given to me from the lowest of lows and it is still on my desk. The other day I had a little synthetic red rose also that I threw out in the garbage. But this bear. The scissors are tempting.. but it has beads in it and I don’t want to make a mess. Than I look at it again and I feel bad. So what should I do?

Why not give the bear to some little kid or a Goodwill store. There is no point holding on to stuff that gives you painful memories. :tatty2.gif:

Use Voodoo on it …. Get a bunch of pins and hope he hurts exactly the same way you are pushing those pins in the bear
I suggest you give it to someone else and make him or her happy.

Qwaider.. I have this Vodoo widget for Windows Vista. The one on the side. It is a Vodoo doll you know.. so cool.. with the pins and stuff. I play with it daily and keep pinning the stupid doll and seeing it die!!

I didn’t kill the bear yet! I will soon.. no one should have such a miserable toy.
I’d say put it in the nearest garbage! Leave only the things that makes you happy and smile.. things that bring back a bad memory just try to get them out of your way and out of your life!
Definately get rid of it, but I agree with Sapphire and D, give it away, to Goodwill or someone else. I don’t think ripping it apart will make you feel better.
It is still on my desk! I will keep twisting it.. but I like the Voodoo idea!
You must get rid of it! It is a placeholder in your life, one you do not need.
I think an effigy is good-a sacrificial burning. Find a nice barrel or fireplace and say goodbye to this piece of your past.
