Oh the opposite gender.
I was reading Qwaider’s post on the friendship of the opposite sex. He had a few interesting points. Here is my perspective on the situation. I am more direct about this. Girls don’t like guys from first meeting them. They first decide if they can even tolerate the guy and can even be friends with him. If friendship leads to romance, than it might be a well suited match. If the friendship ends up in romance than back to friendship than that will be an unsuccessful relationship and may end up with major emotional problems and friendship will not last long.
So in conclusion, girls don’t like guys from the beginning and have to accept them first as a tolerable friend. If things progress than great. If not, girls tend to be bitchy and just end it right there! 
Simple as that.
For me I know that for a fact. I don’t like guys from the begining. I have to tolerate them first. But I think I like the idea of friendship between a guy and girl. It is actually a good thing. Less emotional problems. Less gossip. Spending more time having fun than trying to work out a relationship. Just no strings attached!

Your model doesn’t explain the “one night stand” case where There is overwhelming interest but no future friendship or otherwise
lol @ one night stand.. that I don’t agree with at all. I think it is stupid that is why I didn’t mention. I find it too trashy for one night!
