Feeling Young

Google Buzz

I am still in the library and I was reading my delightful book.. I decided that I needed more coffee and I decided to go downstairs and get me some very bold Star Bucks coffee..

The lady that works there was the same as always. She looked at me, and then said,

“Hello there, nice to see you again.”

I smiled and replied.

“Thanks.. how are you?”

She replied back all happy and said,

“good.. is this your second year now at university?”

I smiled and said,

“Hmm no.. I work full time here at the university, but you probably seen me cause I take a couple of courses through out the year and I am addicted to Star Bucks coffee.”

She was in disbeliefe and said,

“You work here? How.. you are too young.. I thought you were a young student. You have that adorable young baby face.”

I smiled and said,

“Oh thank you, but I am actually young.. hehehe. Thanks for the coffee!! See ya later!”

She said,

“Same here.. see you later!”

I felt a bit happy and decided to write about this moment and remember it… not only do people that work here know me, but they think I am as young as those baby students.. :D

The coffee is getting to me and the book is too good to put down now.. Need to go read some more.. :)

That’s a very positive and nice thing to happen…glad to see you took it so well…i know a lot of girls that would be very indignant at that kind of complement. Young ladies want to be mature..and mature ladies want to be young…. ever the dichotomy… I’ve had to wait until I’m old before anyone started telling me i looked young …so ..enjoy it!!!

You could definitely pass for a young college student, I mean you’re only 26 and that’s still very young.

That IS a nice thing to happen. I am 38 but am mistaken for someone in the late 20’s or early 30’s. Love it! :)
