Thanks for the add on the blogroll. I’m hoping the blog will cover all sorts of topics, that’s why I’m looking for contributors. Because I pretty much specialize only in Meta blogging ( blogging about blogging ) Technology and Internet.

Sometimes it’s just too embarresing to be an arab, I swear. Most of them tend to mix stupid traditions with Islam and blame their stupid acts on religion. And then, most non-muslims see Islam from an Arab prespective which makes them think that Islam is a crazy religion. That’s how it is, always and I find that very frustrating.

If they were truly Islamic they would know that:
1- christians and jews are called Ahl Al Ketab ( People of holy books ) and it is perfectly OK to eat from their foods.
2- Prophet’s mohammed uncle, who raised him, was “kaffer” and the prophet loved him dearly. So there’s no reason why you shouldn’t LOVE non-believers.. let alone talk to them.
3- In Islam, you’re not supposed to say if anyone of ANY religion is going to hell.. because you never know who’s going to hell and who isn’t. What makes it okay for them to tell a muslim girl she’s going to hell?
4- that woman and her skirts,dress talk I won’t even comment on because it’s plain koko talk.

Seriously, Arab are frustrating!

Well, we’re all pretty different arent we?? if we were all the same….it’d be ..A: Dull, B: Pointless getting to know about anyone.

I wouldnt say things are terribly one sided…you have your opinion, which on occasion creates sprited debate, nothing wrong with that is there? People should believe in SOMETHING and support it….of course when its shown there is an error…people should be able to adjust themselves…

As always i have few answers, but lots of questions i have a few issues with my “Christian” brethren…so dont feel alone
in a “cultural” regard. You would be amazed
at how poorly ive been treated at times because
ive played guitar in Church before..
