Feeling sick
I went to the doctor last night cause I had hard time breathing. The doctor took my blood pressure and heart rate and said, “sit down and calm down. If you don’t you will have a heart attack!” He gave me some pills that seem to make a person drowsy and calm. I laid down on the stupid little bed and he waited about 20 min and checked my heart rate again.
He said, “it went down a bit.. you need to stop drinking coffee, or anything with caffeine for a while. Your blood pressure is too high and causing you the head ache. I will prescribe you some medicine that will help with that. You need to watch out because blood pressure that high at a young age will cause double the damage if you were 45 or 50.”
I said, “sure… whatever you want.”
He said, “we also need to do a blood test since it is heredity in your family to have heart disease and diabetes since your dad is my patient as well.”
I said, “fine.. do whatever you want. I am not getting any younger.”
So they took some blood and it hurt like hell cause I hate shots and I have to wait for the results now. Great! Even the doctor thinks I am going to die soon!

am sorry
am going to the doc in a while
tell you later
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so poorly.
When is the last time you had a real vacation and got away from everything?? It really does sound like you might benefit from a change in scenery or something. Emotionally my highs are very high and my lows are VERY low… but I’ve been lucky in that it hasnt appeared to have ever really affected my health. I very much wish you well being and health.
Salamat, hope things get better for you. Caffeine is bad in general, cutting down would be a good idea. I think it is mostly related to stress though.. really.. :/
Sorry to hear of your sickness. Incidentally i am also quite ill right now. It’s weird how u don’t appreciate being healthy until you’re curled up like a baby unable to think through the antibiotics.
I would agree with Robert about changing scenery and also recommend meditation.
Salamtik! Inshallah it’s all good!
You should mention to your Doctor that you have been feeling depressed lately. Depression can affect a person’s heart too. Emotions are very powerful and can affect a person’s health both positively and negatively. I think you need to learn how to relax and unwind and not let things get to you so much. People that are more uptight tend to be at a greater risk for high blood pressure and heart attacks. You may not be able to change how the rest of the world operates but you can change how you respond to it. That internal negative dialogue you have with yourself is not helping you.
