Last time I checked, I was Semitic.

I hate politics, although I read it daily and have to live by it daily. I don’t want to discuss any political issues on my blog although I am the ultimate pride carrier of being a Palestenian. However, when I go around websites and groups that accuse Arabs of being hateful and regularly use the phrase, “Anti-Semitic” towards Arabs, then I really have to put my foot down and explain a few things.

Historically speaking, the middle east area and all its inhabitants all through ancient history and modern history are called Semitic people!

We are Semitic. We have nothing to hide and we don’t ridicule others who are! So if any Arab or non-Arab who thinks otherwise, then I don’t want to have any association with you or your closed minded mentality. Get the facts straight before you even argue with Arabs and call them Anti-Semitic.

If Arabs are Anti-Semitic, then Arabs are Anti-Arabs.

It’s not my fault that my ancestors are Arabs.

It’s not my fault that I am categorized the same as everyone who came from the middle east of ancient times or modern times as Semetic.

Modern times and politics made us hate each other. I am not happy to have been second generation refugee and having to travel half way across the world to find a secure home. I am like everyone else who came from Europe or Asia or Africa who is a refugee or left their home land due to wars or conflicts and just wanted to live a peaceful life. I let destiny decide my fate. God decided this is how life should be. Things happen for a reason, and the more we argue about it, the more we end up hating each other.

I am pro-Semitic because I am ONE!
