Kids are damn annoying!

Google Buzz

One thing that is worse than that annoying cricket that lives outside my window is the sound of kids talking and talking none stop. I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but I do not like kids because they are in that curious stage where they want to know the reason for everything that is said or done. They don’t understand that yes and no can be a sufficient answer. They are loud, obnoxious, ask too many questions and expect an answer right away with no buts or ifs. I love kids when they are quiet, but shutting up a kid is not very easy. Screaming won’t work, slapping won’t work, but violent reaction and bribing works!

I came home from work today, and I told my 12 year old sister that I don’t feel like going to the gym today. I just didn’t feel like it.

This is the conversation about the gym:

Me: I don’t want to go to the gym today.

My sister: why?

Me: I don’t feel like it.

My sister: why?

Me: I don’t feel like it!

My sister: why?

Me: No reason, I don’t feel like it.

My sister: why?

Me: I DON’T WANT TO GO, STOP ASKING!

My sister: why? I know you don’t want to, but why?

Me: STOP ASKING WHY! I SAID I DON’T FEEL LIKE IT!

My sister: but why?

I was still wearing my coat and I realized I had 5 bucks.

Me: SHUT UP OR ELSE!?

My sister: WHY? OR ELSE??

Me: HERE, take the 5 dollars and shut up.

My sister gets excited.

Me: Go away!

My sister: Nice, 5 dollars. So why you don’t want to go to the gym?

Me: GET THE HELL OUT! I AM GOING TO SLAP YOU!

She runs to her room laughing.

Facebook conversation:

My sister always wants to go in my room to bug me and to see what I am doing.

My sister: you are always on Facebook. Why don’t you add me?

Me: No.

My sister: why, I am your sister.

Me: I don’t want to add you or our brother.

My sister: I added him, but you don’t add us. Why?

Me: You guys live here. Why do I care to add you. Leave me alone.

My sister: I want to see what you have on Facebook.

Me: No.

My sister: Please, look at your wall. You got so many. I want to add you. Please.

Me: No. If you add me, I will not accept.

My sister: You are mean and selfish and you are hiding something.

Me: I am hiding my real family name. I am adopted.

My sister: no you are not, you look like me.

Me: I didn’t say you weren’t adopted either and our parents chose a baby that looks like me.

My sister: WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Me: yes, go cry to mom. Leave me alone you little freak.

She goes to mom to ask her with a shock on her face. Kids!

What is up with this pay per post thing? It seems to be spreading across the blogger world like fire.

Awwww. I think your sister looks up to you. There’s a huge age gap between you two! I remember when my sister went through the phase of always wanting to hang out in my room with me and play with my stuff, and do everything I do. It’s just a phase, but I kinda miss it now. Everybody is busy with their own stuff these days and I don’t get to spend as much time with her has before. :(
