The coldness begins..

I woke up this morning to real heavy snow and craziness on the streets. Good thing the city throws a lot of salt on the streets because it was slippery! It was freezing rain this morning mixed with snow. That’s the worst type of snow you want to be in. It was snowing grains of rice! That’s how the snow pebble looked like. Then I had to go to my favorite and easiest class I have ever taken around 9 am and I decided to walk in campus, but I was mesmerized by the scene of falling snow.

I decided to take this video, and you can tell from the lens that the snow and the coldness made it blurry. My pants were all wet at the bottom and I was freezing.

After that I spent another day at work doing nothing. As usual, but I got an email from this nice blogger who asked me to be a guest writer on his blog and write about being an Arab girl living in North America. So I said, sure why not. When he posts it online, I will provide a link. I was flattered that he asked me. I think it is nice that we all can share our thoughts and our culture with others.

Other events happened too for today.. Well, I am a bit angry since this morning of what my friend is doing. She is trying to do something that I don’t want her and I told her not to do. She wants to and tries real hard to hook up with this guy that I used to adore and stare at like a little school girl back in the old days of my first 2 or 3 years of University. A gorgeous Palestenian guy. Now, he emailed her out of no where by mistake and she is taking advantage of the situation because I told her about him. Cause honestly, he is like my Brad Pitt! Now she is pissing me off and she is going behind my back and trying to slowly wanting to meet him. I told her to stop it, he is a big time player and just nice to look at. I was very blunt about the whole thing out of jealousy and said, “if you dare go out with him or anything beyond that, I will not speak to you again!” She keeps denying it and says no no, I am just having fun with emails. I am like whatever. She is seriously crossing the line and I am very pissed. I wonder why she is doing it. Our of curiosity? Who knows. All I know is, she will end up with him because she is very pretty and very flirty and guys seem to like her a lot and she goes out at night and doesn’t care. How unfair..

Life sucks.. Oh well. Maybe I need to just wait and see what she will do. I am keeping an eye on her. She is really pissing me off with this whole thing. Of all the guys in the world, why him!!

Jeez.. I am crazy. I am almost 27 and I am playing this jealousy game. I need to settle down and be serious and get married.

WTF!! Did I say get married? lool I think I am on crack! loool Who would marry me? loool
