That bill can get you a car!
Is it me or the people I know have a huge cell phone bill? I am simple. I only use my cell phone for necessities and I can call anyone who uses my plan for free anywhere in North America. Simple. I love it. I don’t have to worry about the hassles of having to pay a $xxx.xx cell phone bill.
I knew a girl who’s average cell phone bill as a University student was $500 a month. I was always in shock. She couldn’t change the bill or lower it because she was calling over all over. To Toronto, Chicago, Arizona, everywhere. She had to call everyone and always available. She one day thought, why should I buy a used car? My cell phone bill can get me a lease on a Mercedes! Yep.. your cell phone bill would get you any car! Just sit down one day and see how much you really pay for your cell phone bill. A car or cell phone? You choose!
Another girl I knew had it worse. $500 is nothing for a cell phone bill. Her average was $700 – $1000 a month. Who the hell pays that much for a cell phone bill? She finally got it down to a reasonable average of $150 a month.
Don’t you people think you pay way too much for cell phone bills? Who the hell do you call? Don’t you have a life that the phone is always stuck to your ear?
I am simple and technological. I use instant messengers to communicate. If anyone really wants me then they call me. Other than that.. cell phone bills suck the life and money out of you!

Omigod, I was just gonna write about my phone bill this month. But I actually didn’t use it THAT much, there was a big mix-up in the charges….but I did go over my normal monthly usage
I think anything more than $70 is waaaay too much.
I spend a lot but not that much
i try to make my calls from home…my cell is only for emergencies while driving to to ask hubby to get something for me…so my total monthly bill is $25 unless im away from home on vacation..then yeh it is 100some…but not 500-1000 what the hell?..but now since living in jordan im used to prepaid so when i go back to canada i will do those prepaid cards…*i think*
I only pay 20 euros per month and I get to use the company phone for my personal use too. Nokia rules (Actually, I don’t even pay them but I’m being taxed for them)!
P.S. Don’t you have voip gateways ? It really decreases the cost.
From what your saying you get people to call you,so eventually you don’t end up paying big bills,they do.
My phone calls last for about 30 seconds consisting the words..”wainak..bye” but Chicks in general dig talking on the phone alot, call em and you get a sore ear, don’t call em and you get a sore ear!

I agree. I have my house phone and my cell phone is for emergencies. The cell only has 300 minutes per month and I pay about $34.00 a month to have it. I do not see any reason to be paying out the a$$ to have a cell. Not even if I was a millionaire. Just a waste.
I’ve never see my cell phone bill but I know I don’t overdo it because my family and my best friend are all within network so calling them is unlimited-otherwise I save the long convos for nights and weekends.
About the car, well if your dad is a car dealer (like mine) it can be harder to get a new cell phone than it is to get a car!
