Mona, I couldn’t agree more with you. It has been months since I went to facebook and I am still getting invitations there. True, I have some friends there but for the most part they like me are fed up with it. I will stay with my instant messaging, atleast I know who I am talking to. If I don’t, then I don’t ok it.

Online networking sites are a bore. I’ve joined them and never did get it. Most people I know are not on them so what is the point. I don’t like the idea of a complete stranger looking at my personal profile and seeing pictures of me. That is just an invitation for weirdoes and crooks to bother you.

Well, we “guys” are lucky because we don’t get randoms to add us.

But I remember that day when a friend of mines cousin repeatedly tried to add me, I decline him and he wants to add me.
His reason was that he’s freaked out who am I because my friend and I are close weirdos

Then.. you discover that you’re the only girl in his profile. Then he sends you a message with his number. And when you don’t call him. He deletes you and adds someone else and he’s like, “I don’t add anyone that I do not know..”

I know you said that you don’t add just anyone.. but this happened with me. It’s the main reason why I’ve deleted my account.

Sad thing is,for these guys in arab countries “and most of the names u mentioned are probably my friends” they don’t get chances to hook up with women in daily life,so they invade facebook with their spam techniques and hope for the best,shallow arab women encourage this pathetic behavior by adding thousands of friends “boastfully”,check out some women’s profiles and see the mass comments and attention urself..nicole kidman probably envy them!

Whats more sad is that most of these guys don’t know the deception of online dating and how one beautiful woman’s pic can be nothing related to what she looks like in real life..by then its too late..u just run for your life and change ur phone number.

Now in ur particular case…think of the fig leaf u got on ur passport..yup yup..one way ticket to canada “without having to wait 2 years to get to nova scotia for mr.anonymous”.

Facebook is starting to annoy me with weird notification and vigintillion applications. It is just getting pretty annoying .
But MySpace will “forever” be #1 lame social networking website on the web (in my opinion).
