That’s the way I look

well, it’s good that you didn’t reply back & didn’t wish her anything! I am starting to hate people you know!

Well, personally I am trying to stick to standards. I don’t know, but I am really starting to have less friends now because these people I give up are just un-applicable to my personal mental standards.

I don’t know if I am being weird or this is the result of being a rebellious over old-fashion mentalities and traditions.

My comment is mostly about this part “People can be judgmental”.
I don’t know, but those who are judgmental and they usually judge from the looks, color, eyes, hair and other things are… dunno, I start to hate them. I could mock and make fun, but not really judge.

The lady who told you that put her foot in her mouth big time….I hate that crap. Whatever YOU people celebrate…like you are a martian…maybe she thought she was being courteous but at the same time she had to KNOW what she said was just well anal.

This happened to me once, but in Russian. We were in a shop in Ukraine, we bought stuff and the lady was like: Happy new Year, or whatever you celebrate… Don’t you people celebrate it in the same time we do? Do you guys celebrate the new year (if our year is the same as your year?)

We answered he back calmly, yes we do celebrate, and yes its the same year, Happy new year.

I mean, what the hell do they think we’re from, freakin Mars?
We are humans too by the way.

This makes me realize that we, as Arabs, are in fact the most open minded culture of all. We basically know most of the other cultures out there, we do. Unlike others, especially the Wester culture, especially Americans, they don’t know anything other than their country and their culture…
Sometimes I feel they will never rise to our level of thinking, and thats why I (as you all did) don’t get into conversations with them, I just ignore.
