I have no idea who Dave Lucas is but way to bask in the glow of Internet Fame. I had some Internet Fame the other day myself, but it’s gone now.

Your personal story was quite interesting and perhaps I’m projecting or something but I think the over riding emotion I got from what you wrote was frustration. That might seem inadequate, but based on other theories I’ve had, I don’t see it that way. It’s also pretty refreshing that you were able to make it, if not a strength, at least a more positive facet of your personality.

DailyKos is the largest blog (left or right) in existence with 500,000 hits a day.

I managed to get on the front page a grand total of twice (an instance of Internet Fame) but I do like to comment there a lot.

I noticed it is a political blog and I noticed the incredible amount of visitors a day. Unbelievable! I doubt I will be on their site because my site is not political at all.

Since 2004 I’ve had a few “moments” on “big blogs,” appearing once on Michelle Malkin’s blog, once on a BBC blog and once on a USA Today blog. While traffic spikes for a day, very few readers sent from these sites ever return :( but that’s okay… it’s any blog’s “core readership” whether it’s 5, 50 or 500 that REALLY counts!

Yep… I agree. I didn’t get much traffic from your site anyways.. lool :P
