While looking through the blogosphere we stumbled on an interesting post today.Here’s a quick excerpt I just came from downstairs talking to my parents.. My mom was like, “you having a birthday party eh?” (we are not doing it on our birthday.. but in the end of the month.) I am like, “yah, with my friend.” My dad said, “Alone? Just you two?” I said, “No no.. we invited people.” Dad said, “just girls?” I hesitated and said.. “Aahh.. yah yah..” My mom had this “eh whatever” expression of disapproval cause I said girls. It's far too much work, plus everyone is all occupied (or on vacation) because of New Years or Christmas. So instead I just hit up people for free drinks for the next few weeks. It works for me. I stopped having parties years ago. It’s far too much work, plus everyone is all occupied (or on vacation) because of New Years or Christmas. So instead I just hit up people for free drinks for the next few weeks. It works for me.
