The end of a two year saga

calendar_december.jpgToday marked the last day of the two year life of my blog. Tomorrow I will begin my my third and it will be great times I tell you!

I want to thank everyone who has participated in my blog’s lifetime and keeping it alive on the internet. From posting comments on my site, from daily visits and emails, and best of all, adding me to your blog roll of friends.

Through out the past couple of years I have described my daily life in as much detail as I can. I have read everyone’s comments and advice and I truly appreciate it. A lot of you have been more pissed at me than happy because I was always contradicting your view points, but you know what, you would do the same to me. We are all stubborn in our own ways, and I have ran into a few problems with other bloggers this year than ever before.

This year, however, marked the end of many things in my life. As many of you know, I made this blog as an open public message to shut someone up and pretty much to tell him off. My blog became the only communication method between us because he didn’t want to see me, talk to me on the phone, or e-mail me. However, he commented a lot to my posts which really made me wonder why he would rather fight publicly then privately. Anyways, that saga ended horribly. It actually ended on Facebook with his stupid message insulting me and my work and thinking he can break my heart and lower my standards. But naah.. I am pretty tough and I learned to not let people effect me. That problem ended about 4 months ago and I am free!

One thing I learned in life, I rather be heart broken and alone from a bad relationship than being DIVORCED!

Another saga of this year is the people at my work. Oh the people at my work and how much they piss me off. I think I got more white hair this year than all the years I have been at combined. I stress easily and I tend to get mad fast and I suppress my anger to white hair! Dark hair with white streaks is not a good fashion statement. Especially cause people think I am young and I am lying about my age. I don’t lie about my age. Tomorrow I will be 27. So what? It’s a nice odd number. Has lots of goodness to it. :) Anyways, yes, people at my work are a cause of most of my grief this year. One thing I learned is that I rather loose friends or co-workers or whatever than loose my dignity. I have too much pride. It’s not that bad, but you know, I don’t want to associate my self with back stabbers and people who gossip and talk shit all the time to satisfy them selves and their position. People seriously think I am weak because I am quiet and nice. On the contrary, I am pretty much evil and sneaky and I don’t care about anything. Well, the reason I am stuck to my job is cause of my boss. He put up with me for too many years and I did the same. I am actually friends with my boss, but many people don’t know that. I rather keep it that way. We get into each other’s hair and want to kill each other from time to time, but that’s normal. Life wouldn’t be fun if we didn’t. :)

Anyways, so life and work pretty much sucked this year. I also suffered from depression this year and got treatment for it and I am still going through it, but I am getting better. Life stinks and it gets to me. I blogged about it, whined about it, and just plain drove my readers insane with all the drama. It is my blog, and I carry the name Rebellious Arab Girl, and I actually write about being one. I don’t have a problem of one day being bitchy and complaining about everything! I don’t care. Who is going to judge me as a blogger with a private domain and hosting? No one can.

This is where it gets back to the whole blogging world. The blogging world is filled with so many hypocrites and liars and people who write complete nonsense on their blogs just to attract traffic. They also start blog gangs and attract their stupid blog friends to useless fights just to get their way. Some bloggers out there are seriously stupid and can’t blog about normal things because they know they are boring and no one would read their crap.

I don’t need to lie and make up nonsense to attract visitors. I write the truth about my life and the way I perceive things. People are amazed by the honesty. Thanks!

One thing I learned in life, lying takes too much effort! And I am the laziest sloth on earth! You are lucky I maintain a blog. I mean seriously, when was the last time I made a new template for my blog? I used to change it 5 or 6 times a year last year! This year, I am sticking to this template that took me 3 whole days to make. I am content!

So blogger’s lesson! You want your blog to survive? Here is my advice. Pick a topic to talk about. If it is a personal blog like mine, well, talk truthfully about your self. People like the truth. Learn to exaggerate the truth a bit. It all depends on your writing. Most people don’t like writing or reading, but if you write well, then you will attract the ones that seldom read! Then you will know that your blog is good!

Happy blogging! Hope to see more of you readers starting your own blogs, and I will be more than happy to help! :)
