Simply No

I went into my sister’s room to ask her if she wanted to help me cook dinner. I wanted to teach her something in life. For a twelve year old living in this day and age, her response was very odd. She was sitting there on her bed, watching TV and playing her Game Boy Advanced and really wasn’t looking at me or paying attention.
I said, “You want to help me cook?”
She said, “No. I want my own credit card!”
I said, “Excuse me?”
She said, “I want one. I want to order things online!”
I said, “No. I didn’t have my own credit card till I was 18.”
She said, “Well I AM NOT YOU!”
I said, “Shut up. You are not getting one.”
I wonder what she wants to buy online?

more games or Hanna Montana stuff :p
No clue.. I didn’t ask her and it is probably some brand name clothes!
Can’t blame her with all the limitless cool stuff you can buy online..growing up with no internet we never had such exposure to huge amounts of merchandise.
Advertising directed to children is a curse! And now that it seems all easy it gets children even more mad!
I remember how all those Toys R Us ads drove me crazy, and how I would make my dad buy me $250 remote controlled cars just cuz I saw them on TV… Now imagine their power has doubled, expect even worse!
