Sneaking behind parents… Well, I will admit. I always did it because they just won’t understand that I HAVE to try what (THEY THING) wrong to see what happens.

My biggest challenge as an Arab male who spent most of his adult life in the US is the lack of concept of dating. The idea of being engaged first before it is ok for me to get to know the girl is crazy. Meanwhile, my generation will continue sneaking behind our parents in the hope of finding love maybe in all the wrong places. I just hope none of us get shot in the process.

Honestly, Arabs are phobic and weird. They like to say crap about whoever holding whoever’s hand in the street walking.
When a guy and a girl are walking side by side they start thinking they are going to have sex SICK MINDS! I see lots of crap when I am out with friends.
If I am out with a girl, people talk.

Once I was out with a friend and we got annoyed by weirdos, I ignored them they started throwing rocks at me? Why? Just because the girl was really pretty! Can you believe it?

Point is:
“Katb Ketab” Or even marriage won’t prevent weirdos from talking. And honestly, they will never stop being weirdos!

i totally agree with you on the kateb ktab crap..people do it so they will not be talked about blah blah..but people still talk…if they see u with your fiance holding hands or hugging…and the girl is torn between parents warning her that hey u r still not married so no hanky panky..and a guy who is married to u and telling you how it is his right…blah blah blah blah….and yes a divorce…the judge will not give you an annaulment even if the marriage was not consumated…

I have to agree with you ladies. I don’t have much to say about this “Sex” part. Although I was thinking about writing an article about “OMG, 3eeb “Eib” Shame On you” crap that made many people weird.

Long engagement is crap in my opinion.
Funny, I almost got expelled of primary school for saying “I like this girl, she’s beautiful and smart” because it was “3eeb” How can a BOY say that about a GIRL! :lol:
