I have noticed in the infamous blogsphere that particular bloggers form their own cliques. They comment together on other blogs, on each other’s blog, begin fights on other blogs, and they join every stupid group together. Yet, what intrigues me is the nonsense comments that they post on other blog sites. The nonsense is what attracts people. I noticed bloggers tend to comment on a post if they see other bloggers doing so. They don’t really read the post, they just agree with their blog friend because they want to make sure the opinion that is bashing the blog poster is agreed upon and people will join their twisted thoughts and opinions. It’s like a support group that one negative blogger brings with him/her.

Where has the personality of bloggers gone to?

I wish those stupid commenters had an inch of personality on their own sites to bother commenting on other sites. What a waste of time.

They blog together, comment together, and they take the side of their blogger friend without thinking. It’s like they are riding this bus together and stopping where everyone else stops. They get off, throw out their crap, and go back on the bus to visit another blog to throw out more of their trash.

Are people stupid? I have visited around 15 blogs today and I read the comments, (yes, visitors read comments, not just the blog owner), and it was the same group of people who just agree with one another by writing something completely irrelevant to what the post is talking about.

Why do blog owners allow this nonsense to permeate their blogs?

The problem with some visitors is that if you delete their post or not approve their post, they will start emailing you nasty emails calling you close minded, and an awful person. Am I an awful person if I don’t agree with you insulting me?

People seriously need to stop this nonsense. The origin of these blog gangs are from those stupid aggregator sites and other small social websites that have a collection of RSS feeds. The thing is, and I have known many bloggers who have suffered through this, they did not want to be a part of these sites! They were just added there by who ever created the stupid site.

I like large social networking blog sites. You have to confirm your email before you are added. That’s the way it should be done. If a blogger does not want to be part of this nonsense, then they have every right to remove them selves so less stupid people come from one source.

Today is the Islamic day of Eid Al-Adha. Eid al-Adha or عيد الأضحى is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of the prophet peace be upon him Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah. It is celebrated after Hajj (pilgrimage) in Mecca. We call it sheep day! But mom won’t sacrifice a sheep for us! Anyways, hope everyone has a great Eid and enjoy the next few days of celebration!

Random Thoughts

Dad this morning said, “Oh how beautiful you are Mona! Isn’t she pretty” (looking at my mom)

Mom said, “Of course.”

I said, “I look a lot like mom eh?”

Dad said, “No! You look like our side of the family. Not your mother’s.”

Mom said, “Aah.. she looks like me, can’t you see.”

Dad said, “No.. well she looks like her brother. ”

I said, “And we look like mom!”

Mom said, “except your sister, she ended up like your dad’s family.”

I said, “yep.. white girl. When she was a baby, I called her little white duck!”

Hahaha.

By the way, I look 100% like my brother and we look 95% like our mother. But you know, they still have to argue who looks like who after all these years! :lol:

Blah Blah, Funny, They said what?

I had major sleeping problems last night that around 1 am I resorted to my heavy duty sleeping pills. I was feeling very depressed and because I am ME, I cry for no reason. So I knocked my self out with those pills and I got up around 6:30 am feeling like crap. I got dressed and was dropped off at the bus stop. I sat in my comfy window seat and closed my eyes and dozed off. I know that I have reached work by the feeling of the bus movements. I feel when the bus makes turns. So I know exactly that I am close to work by the feeling. :lol: I know I am weird like that!

I got into work with my head spinning. At our work there are no windows. I call my work a programmer’s dungeon. We are just missing some hanging candle chandeliers and chains everywhere to complete the Gothic theme. I felt stuffy and congested. It’s like I swallowed dust the moment I got in there, and I wasn’t feeling good to begin with. As I sat down, I started coughing. Once, twice, three times. … …. … It wouldn’t stop. My boss messages me and I am like, “I am sick. Can’t you hear my cough all the way down there!” He is just down the hall, but you can hear anybody! Full conversations at a time from where I sit. So I kept coughing, weezing, it just wouldn’t stop. At times the dry coughs were so intense that I felt like I was going to throw up. Good thing I didn’t eat anything because it wouldn’t have looked pretty at all.

So he came in and said, “we need to take you to walk in clinic now!” I said, “no!” I hate doctors by the way. They will recommend the same old crap and it would cost me more coughs and time! So my boss went across the street to the store to get me something to stop the cough.

He came back with horrible Buckley’s! It was disgusting! The moment I drank it, I felt like I was gonna hurl! I felt like someone put their hand inside my throat and scratched it with their nails. The stuff is horrible. The moment you breath after, you feel like a major burning intake of extra strong Vicks or some type of cough drop permeating all over the walls of your throat. Now I know how a fire breathing dragon feels! Eww!

So I took it and I kept taking more and more cough drops. Within the hour, (this is all before 9 am by the way), I felt better. The coughs stopped and I just felt lightheaded and sleepy. Throughout the day, I just felt my throat hurting and minor coughing, but I took Buckley’s again to just stop it. When I got home, my mom made me soup, and I took some cold medicine because I am sick of being sick. The ear infection yesterday made me feel like crap today. The good news is, my ear does not hurt anymore!

As the day passed, we had an end year potluck today, but I didn’t bring anything! I forgot! I felt bad. But when I am sick I forget everything. For example, around 8 am this morning, as I was entering our side of the building, there is a security door and I use my Chub card to get in. I was holding the office key instead just looking at the door wondering where to put the key. Where’s the hole I wondered! Until someone from the other side saw me and opened the door for me. I just looked at him and said, “oops, sorry, I lost my mind today!

As the day passed, all my co-workers did was play stupid games. Call of Duty 4 is STUPID! It has nice graphics and everything, but stupid. Unreal Tournament 3 is way better!

I tried to do something, I played for an hour and stopped. My head started hurting and I wanted something more calming and I wanted to watch a movie and we had the projector. No one wanted to watch anything. Just play stupid games.

So I got bored and I really wanted to go home. I just got tired and over whelmed from all the coughing. I just wanted to sit under my comfy warm blanket and sleep.

Around 2 pm, my boss then said, “time for contracts!”

Wohoo. Finally! I was excited and scared. So I got my usual raise, and not only that, it was a year contract! Although there are no guarantees there will be money for a year, but who cares! I was just happy I still got a job for January! I can have happy holidays! I was excited. I was so happy that I sent an SMS to my friend that I still have a job and she was so excited! Then I messaged my dad on MSN and he said, “Congratulations MunMun! Do you want me to pick you up?” I said, “No, I want to go to the mall, I want to go shopping!” :lol:

So I bought a cute gift for my best friend and I mailed it to her house in Mississauga so it would reach tomorrow for Eid! I told her that I sent her a gift, and she kept begging me to know what it is! I refused to tell her!

As I got home, I told my mom and she said, “I thought you are making over XX,XXX!!

I got mad! I told her, “Mom! Stop thinking and making up numbers to tell your STUPID Arab friends what I make! In this case, what I don’t make! I don’t make that much! I am not rich! Is it a contest between you women who’s daughter makes more money!” She said, “Calm down!” I said, “I hate the stupid Arabs here! That’s all you people talk about!” She said, “why you hate Arabs, you are one!” I said, “Yah whatever. I am Canadian now who speaks Arabic!”

I just stormed off to my room and I just took some cold medicine and enjoyed the rest of my evening. Aah. Peace and harmony. Now I can sleep well. First time in weeks!

Blah Blah, Random Thoughts, They said what?

Who is a real friend? What is a real friend? I use to always think that finding someone to love was hard, but honestly, finding a true friend is harder. Don’t get me wrong, I have one best friend, and that’s more than enough. However, we all want to expand our horizons and want more friends. You try really hard, but you just can’t break the barrier between you and all their other friends. Seriously, how can a person have more than one friend that they can trust? At times, one is more than enough, but some other times we feel like we need more just to be well rounded and out there communicating with other people in our society.

So you want to have more friends? Let’s say this new friend treats you just like any other person. You are never on their top priority list. To them, you are just there to fill the gap for an hour or two of their boredom. Yet, you cannot confide in them. You can’t talk to them anymore or try to be more personal because they can never take you seriously. They would never understand anything you do or say, and just accept you for “what you seemed to be” in the beginning.

Friendships have 4 different levels.

1) Acquaintance.

An acquaintance is a person who you see frequently on the bus stop, or just a person you see from time to time and have small talk with. You can’t really discuss the details of your life, but the subject of whether always comes up. And you sometimes can’t remember their first name for some reason.

2) Companion.

A companion is someone you frequently hang out with and you see daily. Could be a co-worker, your next door neighbor, or class-mate. You discuss general life topics and you confide in their opinions. You know more then just their last name, you know their kid’s names, their pet names, and their age. You may end up going to trips together and hanging out outside of your normal meeting environment from time to time.

3) Friend / Buddy.

A friend knows you very well and has been your friend for a long time. They know your likes and dislikes, your life stories, where you live, and you don’t mind buying them lunch when going out to restaurants. They are people you can discuss your feelings and emotions with. They won’t stab you in the back and take every word you ever said and turn it against you. They are people you can confide in all the time, and won’t turn their back on you.

4) Best friend / The other half

A best friend is a person you see your self through. You never question their words, their behavior, or their smelly feet. You know it was always smelly. You don’t think twice when talking to them. You have no secret to keep from them. They know every detail about you as you know of them. At times, you are mesmerized by the level of understanding between one another and the similar actions. The way they act is the same as the way you act at times that you surprise your self and wonder, am I like that? Really? This person is willing to do anything for you, and at times, you wonder that this friendship is meant to last till death do you part. You might end up grieving over them more then your own blood relatives.

To me, these are the levels of friendships. Your current friends are at any one of those levels. Some may have gone through all those levels before they reached your soul. Others, well, they will never climb up because they are very much into their own world and their own clique to care about you.

Just remember, it’s not the months, or years you have known a person, it is the way they react to you as a friend. That’s friendship. It could happen at any time, or any place and with someone you least expect.
