Hey Baby! 2007 is over! Bow to the all mighty 2008!

I slept at 11 last night and didn’t give a damn and woke up happy! 2007 is over!! Wohoo! Now I can celebrate and be happy.. Happy 2008!
Also, for those of you who live in Canada, the GST tax rate went down 1% at midnight. Now it is down to 5% GST rate! Isn’t it a great year or what!!

All you are saving with the GST going down one percent is 50 cents on every purchase of $50. You only make a signficant savings when it is a large purchase of $1000 or more. I guess 50 cents here and there eventually all adds up but it would have been nice if they got rid of that stupid GST altogether.
Whoaaah, I didn’t know the GST went down! So know it’s 13% total tax, nice! Now, is it supposed to be going down every year that Harper’s in power?

And yes.. I think as long as the Conservatives are in power or holding the prime minister seat, then the tax goes down one percent a year.
