Facebook applications suck!

Facebook applications are made for amusement and a bit of interactivity with your friends. However, the custom personal applications that people have developed, and it is not that hard to do so anymore, that any bozo can slap around some application and the hell if they test it for all kinds of bugs. Do these people even know what bug testing is?

I am so sick of applications that give me that same error over and over. It works 50% of the time. The application concept is not that bad, but if it worked all the time, than it would be a lot better and more popular.

Not only that, lately, and it seems to be the forced way to let others use the application, is filling out some quiz or something to give you some silly answer about your personality or something, and you cannot see the answer unless you invite 5 people. I have seen worse where you can’t see the results unless you invite 20 people! So, if a person doesn’t have 20 friends, then this application is completely useless? I got 29 friends on Facebook. 1/3 of them are related to me. 1/3 are people I barely talk to and I honestly wouldn’t care if I remove them right now, and the other 1/3 are people I actually know in person and I consider real friends.

Facebook applications are stupid, untested and are used to spam others. I don’t need to spam my friends unless I don’t like them much. So, if you install these applications and want to see the results, make sure you have random people on your list that you don’t care much about and know they won’t bitch at you for spamming them with useless applications.

I agree with that. That’s the reason I’ve started reporting those applications as spam and commented on others not working in my blog.

Some of them look interesting but there’s no way I’m spamming twenty people, because that’s what it is.

It is annoying that 20-person minimum. I have just started adding friends so I don’t have anywhere near that many. I also find it annoying how slow some of the applications work and how some features of the application don’t work at all. I would like a simple application that plays full music mp3s that actually work and gives me the ability to choose what songs I want on it instead of forcing me to listen to what ever is randomly chosen. I also don’t like music clips. Who the heck only wants to listen to 30-second music clips? I would also like to see more variety in music to choose from. We don’t all like the latest Fergie music or Jay Z stuff.
