No, not in a bad way, a genuinely interested open minded way. Anyway, as for people repeating the same mistakes all the time, it seems to me that so many people on this planet NEED to feed loved/needed by other people. It so consumes them that they can't see the worth in themselves unless another person validates it. Like Sam, I also get a lot of people talking to me, I even did a counselling diploma because I thought this would help my friends, then I discovered that it doesn't because mostly they aren't ready to change. Pissed me off that I'd spent all that money on a course only to discover a truth I could have got from a fortune cookie - oh well! People actually find me a good listener, although most of the time they don't even come to me asking for help, its me who spots that they have a problem and pursue them to talk about it, and when they do, they end up feeling better and i feel good too. The only problem is that people forget about it, I have some friends who get into bad situations again and never come for my help, because they totally forgot that I even helped last time. Others only come for me when theres a problem. but when everything's ok, I never see them. Anyways, about repeating mistakes, personally, I find myself repeating some of my mistakes again.
