This makes me a happy blogger

By: Mona
.......................

This should be on every blogger’s mind really when they blog. “Did someone really read what I wrote and made them think about a situation to quote me and blog about it on their sites?”

This is what I love about the internet and its people. Quoting others and linking back to them. That’s what I adore about this whole internet world and especially the blogger’s world.  That someone out there is reading and analyzing and bringing back the ideas to their sites to discuss it.

That’s blogging! :)

The problem is that people abandon their domains way too easily / often these days which then gets bought by spammers. After a while, your site becomes a “link farm.”

what does this have to do with active blogger linking to me? They are as active as me. I don’t see a problem yet. :S

I’m speaking generally. If I were to quote you, and you suddenly decide to switch domains, that’d be bad for me and my site.

aah.. that’s true.. but the likely hood of me changing domains is very low at this time.. I spent lots of time and effort to get where I am today with my blog, so I wouldn’t want to do that.. If I do, and if anyone does consider changing their domain names is to have a link or to automatically jump the user to the new site.

But I agree, changing domains or abandoning one’s domain will only cause spam.
