Being Mellow

When I am mellow I need music to accompany my mood. I seldom listen to Arabic music because I find most new songs stupid with no meaning. So I always go back to old time classics. Well, just Fayrouz because it is the only music that is ever played in my house and the only songs I was forced to memorize by heart since I learned to talk.

Sorry it is not my usual up beat English music. However, just listening to this music is incredible and relaxing.

It is infortunate I donot understand Arabic but I as introduced to fairuz by a friend of mine, she is crazy abot her always sounded melodious to me. After reading the english translation I am equally mad for her ( and may be start learning Arabic). Is there any where/way i can get the english translation of her songs, I know I can find the songs here in SA but would not be able to enjoy them without understanding them.
Good selection though keep it up have another reason to come to your blog now

I don’t know about Arab music, but I do agree that most music nowadays is meaningless.

This will be the first time I have willingly listened to Arabic music. It is not that I have anything against it… I just thought I would not like… and also every time I have had it playing it is always in places I do not like.

It was very calming. I may have to get some on my ipod
