I thought my job made me psychotic
I went to the A&P grocery store today and bought a few things. The cashier guy who strangely looked like Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) from King of Queens and acted like him too, but he had a Beatles style hair cut, swiped the first item and then he paused and looked at me.
He said, “It just hit me. Why am I still doing here?”
I looked at him with wide eyes and a small smirk.
I said, “Umm, I don’t know. Long day?”
He said, “Really, it just hit me, why am I still here?”
I said, “I think you have been at work for too long.”
He said, “Yah. Long day, but I just thought about it right now. I should not be here and just head home.”
My sister was laughing hysterically.
I said, “Well, you had a long day at work and you just need to go home.”
He said, “Yah. I am gonna leave.”
Strange man. He should be an actor and I should be the critic of his show.

Haha. I love it when things like that happen… I wish I could have been there.
Maybe he is having some type of Groundhog day.
Or maybe he realized that his job sucks and it just hit him. Life as a cashier.. what a life..
But without them who would serve us? Someone needs to do it… So fingers crossed he wakes up and gets back to work.
But yea, must suck… Boring job
Well, if we can’t imagine ourselves doing such jobs, some people do. Some people are happy in their jobs, and some aren’t. Some want to get better, ans some are OK the way they are.
For me, even seeing a man in his 50s using public transportation is weird to me. I mean for me, if I’m 50 and using the bus, I’d rather die. I should have at least 2 cars by then, and a driver! (Yeah I have high hopes and I wanna be rich really fast  )
The check out clerk looks like Kevin James mmmmm. Lucky you. I usually get the dumpy looking middle age lady.
I get middle aged women too.. they are more freaky and they don’t smile.. :S
Isn’t Doug just the absolute best?
