Oldest women in the world – Palestinian!
I know this story is a bit old, but it is amazing and I love it!
David Silverman of Getty Images took this photo of Mariam Amash, an Israeli Arab who claims to be 120 years old, outside her house in northern Israel.
Silverman, who shot a series of photos on Wednesday, writes that Amash has ten children, dozens of grand-children and scores of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
The secret to her longevity? A glass of olive oil a day, according to one of her granddaughters-in-law.
If Amash’s claim is confirmed, the Associated Press says she would be the oldest person in the world.
Israel’s Interior Ministry tells the wire service that her birth year is listed as 1888 in its records, based on a certificate issued by the Turkish authorities who ruled the area at the end of the 19th century. “We’re just not sure it’s correct,” spokeswoman Sabine Haddad tells AP.

one glass of olive oil everyday :S I hate oil in the food, I even use the one you spray it so that nothing would taste oily!!!

on a less serious note,think of someone waiting to inherit her since she was 80 “lama kanat lissa sabiyeh”.
