Being of mixed blood I was always teased about my heritage. For me kids are more tolerant at least they are in my daughter's school. My brother, sister, and I were the only non-white kids in our school. I grew up in rural southern Indiana where the population is very homogeneious...needeless to say I never went to any high school reunions. I think that racism, stereotyping, and bullying will always be around...seems this is a very dark side to human nature. I know where you are coming from.
