Facebook and Religion

This is pertaining my previous post. I noticed that some Arabs have a tendency to make up some stupid comment under religion in their profile.
Like the following:
“God is here.”
“Why do you ask?”
“I am everything.”
“None of anyone’s business.”
etc.
Why? Is it so hard to just pick Muslim. If you don’t want to then just DON’T WRITE ANYTHING YOU FOOLS. Oh my God you make me sick.

Don’t even get me started on this… its so stupid!! People write the weirdest shit ever!!!
I wouldn’t necessarily say they are ashamed, but they are uncomfortable putting their private business on a public site knowing there is a lot of anti-muslim sentiments in the West. Even though its a big deal to them otherwise they’d just say Muslim, they try to give the impression it’s not a big deal by making a joke out of the issue.

Moey, I know you too well and I read your blog religiously and you are open about your religious beliefs. So reading Religionismless doesn’t shock me at all. But for other people, it is disturbing to read.
