On the rise again

My parents bought a new blood pressure machine at home checker. Computerized and everything. So I checked mine because it was the most accurate thing next to a doctor’s machine.
So 139/89 today. Great. Border line to hypertension, again.
Why is my life depressing? I need to sleep more and stop thinking or my blood pressure will go up the roof like a few months ago. That’s my problem.

You should try to sit still and think about nothing. Try and get your brain to think of absolutely nothing, no song lyrics, no work plans, just silence…
It is a lot harder than it sounds and should help calm your body and mind down.
My mom has one of those and checks her blood pressure regularly. My blood pressure usually is around 105/65. You are rather young to be having high blood pressure.
