It sure is sad – I had canary birds once, a baby bird died, I held him and I actually cried. I am so attached to my pets, besides; I am a bird lover.

Probably a student has found him and decided to keep him as a pet. Maybe you should put up posters around the school with his picture on them saying if you find him you will receive an award or something. What do you think?

Any trees nearby? I read that they are naturally shy animals… Maybe he’s hiding by some rocks or in a patch of grass or something. And since they love to bask in sunlight, maybe search for him around the outside of the office tomorrow around noon?
