Mall adventures

By: Mona
.......................

bagsMall adventures are always great! However, I always question some business’s strategies and why some stores have 4 – 5 employees and some stores have one!

Cell phone places are always filled with so many employees. They are not even stores, but little booths in the middle of the hall ways of the mall. I just don’t understand why there is a need of 4 or 5 people there to sell cell phones.

Also, I think mall employees think I am nutz. Like today I had to go buy a gift, and I went to a card store to buy a card and wrapping paper. Then I told the employee there, “aah, can I wrap this in here please?” She said, “sure…” I sat on the floor in the middle of the store wrapping a gift. She kept staring at me and laughing.. I am like hahahaa.. I know. I suck at wrapping. SUE ME! Then I went up to her and said, “aah.. I need scissors!” She said, “sure…” Few minutes later I said, “aah.. I think I need a bag.. let’s try to see if I can get a bag to fit this!” She was like “sure!” I tried, and nop… did not work at all! TOO HEAVY! Anyways… that was that.. I make employees laugh a lot at the mall cause I talk like this.. “aaahh. Do you have this? I can’t see it. I am blind here. Tell me!!” :lmao:

    You’re a goof!
But you raise a good point. Why don’t wrapping paper/card places have tables for you to wrap stuff at? I’m sure that would attract customers away from other similar shops!

That is a an awesome idea, Erica. It makes so much sense, but why hasn’t it been done?! It might just be a guy thing, but I”m always going last minute and if I could do and have everything there for me it’d be great. :woot:

    “Aaahh” funny story, Mona.

LOL Mona… You sure do weird things in stores…
And about Cell phone stores, they do that intentionally. Have u ever tried to talk to any of them and ask about a certain phone?
They all come and they start telling u all about it… One from the right and one from the left. Theyre evil! And then they start suggesting more expensive phones, they make u wanna buy everything in the store (unless you’re immune) and my people aren’t!

We should go set up shop on a bench in a mall and offer gift wrapping. Take donations. Be crazy. Crazy awesome.
