Don’t go?

22/04/08 @ 5:39 pm

At work today I was busy doing some stuff and then talking about other work out there. I was discussing it with my youngen co-worker cause he has been away for a bit for exams, and then I said, “you got to help me here so I can leave this place.”

He said, “what? I don’t want you to go.. why you going?” (He is oblivious to the drama been going on the past week. I feel I work in a different place than him sometimes!)

I said, “aah.. I don’t plan to stay here much longer.. at all!”

He said, “don’t go.. so what? Ignore.”

I said, “NO!”

I swear.. sometimes I wonder who will miss who at my work? I feel that I am not wanted to leave and stay till the end.. I don’t know if I have the patience to do so. Although I love working with them, but I don’t know if I am willing to stay after I was treated like crap.. Well, at least people in higher authority know I am not easy to deal with and put people in line.

We’ll see what the future will hold!! Thou shall leave!

Grrrr. You answered the question you refused to answer in my interview with you. Hummm

But, I think you should do what you want to do…. No one will make your mind up for you.

You should write some proggies on the side. Or you could join an open source project on source forge (http://sourceforge.net/) or something. You could make money off of them or you could just use it for your portfolio and resume.

Anyways, good luck with the job hunt. :)

I refuse to do any silly contract work or anything.. I done too much in the past and it is too time consuming.

Not contract work, just experiment and do whatever is in your mind at the moment. Contract work blows! Most oif the clients have no idea what they want, and are never satisfied. I’m just talking about like being bored and starting the foundation of a game engine or something. Or maybe do some graphic work and make some textures or portrait. Anything.

I think an answer to your trouble would be easily solved if you get promoted to a higher post in the same place. Don’t you think?
