Lovely quote

.......................
I am a quote excavator. I love finding quotes on the internet because sometimes 1 sentence can have a 1000 meanings and think to my self, “wow, that is so true!” Sometimes I can’t even think of something to say (I know weird!) and I look up what others say. So I came across a few that made say, “wow.. me like!”
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything you gave me.”
~Erma Bombeck
Chose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
~Confucius (BC 551-BC 479) Chinese philosopher.
Time is precious, but truth is more precious than time.
~ Benjamin Disraeli (1804-1881) British politician and author.

“Chose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
I don’t really believe in that. Because, if something is your work, you will get bored eventually… even though you like it. Thats why I didn’t turn any of my hobbies to a profession, because I wanna keep them that way.
I could have become a professional graphics designer, or tried to be a professional musician, but NO! I study medicine (that I also like) and I’m leaving the rest as my hobbies, things that make me happy when I’m bored of “work”.
For me I am a professional graphics artist and computer freak.. I love both.. they are my hobby and I have been going to work for the past 6 years doing that because it is fun to me!
I LOVE quotes!
The only drawback is that I don’t like too many of them at once … it is like trying too many perfumes at once… you cannot smell anything after the 3rd one.
The ones you chose are really good, especially the 1st one!
Gotta agree with Confucius. Only problem is laying around isn’t considered a job. I’d love to just work on things I wanted when I felt like it… but that world is not now
No, life is much too “complex” here.
Words of wisdom
The Confucius quote has been a favorite of mine for a long time.
Yes Confucius is cool, I would go further and say ‘find the joy inside yourself’ so that it doesn’t matter if you’re at work or not, the experience of life is overpowering the mere physical activities you’re pursuing.
