I was thinking that I should put up a live web cam like I had a year and a half ago on my blog. I donno if I want to allow free voyeurism of me on my site again, but I did it before and I had to remove it within a month. I used it really as a spy cam on my room so no one (mother) touches my things! Now, hmm, I will have to think of another way, Maybe put the camera on top of the desk area to just show me and only me.

I have to think about video casts and pod casts to add to my site. I need to enhance my blog to not only be a readable journal. Something more interactive!

I will see. Maybe I will go buy a new web cam or something and maybe only turn the camera on whenever I feel like it. So it will only be live when I am around. I think that is a better idea.

Too many thoughts in my head right now and different ideas. I need a change. Wait till tonight, maybe I will get something up and running.

Random Thoughts

Over the course of the past few years, I kept being asked by various people if I don’t like Jews due to the fact that I am Palestenian. I keep saying, “do I want people to dislike me for being a Muslim and calling me a terrorists because of what a group of uncaring hateful people have done to ruin our image?”

I don’t understand why the most prejudice stereotyping is based on religion. Religion has been around for centuries. How religion has evolved and what people have done and justified their action based on religion is questionable and truly not part of any religion.

Your religion is a moral guidance and a way to worship God and that’s it. Any political or historical event that triggered religious hate should not effect any person who is not involved in these situations. If the media and other news outlets have a biased view of an event, that does not mean that we, as educated people who strive to find our own answers should only believe that part of the story. Try to be smarter for a bit.

I grew up in an environment where I was forced fed and brain washed to believe that because I am Palestenian, I should dislike Jews for what they did to us. As I grew up, I kept hearing the word Zionist and I kept asking, “what’s the difference?” Aaah.. politics, different view points. Religion was just at outside factor used an excuse. So the problems are not only based on religion, but damn politics. Typical.

So really, if you want to go back in history, many Muslims till this day dislike Christians as well because of something that happened centuries ago; war with the European Crusades. It’s funny that I met a few Muslims who still think this way. Then I get the inevitable question if I like Jews or not. Like is that even answerable anymore? So I just say, “there is a difference between Jews and Zionists.” And I leave it at that. I don’t feel like arguing something that I have absolutely no control over. Sparking a never ending debate is pointless. Just end it there. Be neutral and be careful of what you are saying. I know many of you would be like :wtf: is wrong with her? She is PALESTENIAN! I am like ya, but I live in a multicultural country called Canada. If I have the right to be treated like anyone else, then why should I discriminate against others?

I actually wrote this post because I keep getting a bunch of people posting comments saying that I shouldn’t be writing this way and care more about the Palestenian problems and the 60 year anniversary of occupation next month.

This is a message to everyone who think I am using my website for the wrong reasons. I DON’T CARE! I can write whatever I want when I feel like it. My blog is NOT a political blog. My blog is NOT a Palestenian cultural blog. My blog is ABOUT ME and what I am thinking TODAY! I am so random and I have many opinions about anything, so don’t FORCE me or OBJECT to my writing. Do I do that to you? NO!

In conclusion, I LIKE PEOPLE TO TREAT ME THE WAY I TREAT THEM! Is that wrong?

This week I ended up pissing off a lot of people but I did it simply by using random English words that are above the grade 10 level.

What I noticed that writing any phrase using the word “utterly” makes people really furious. Try it. Let us say you really pissed me off with what you did. Instead of me using an angry tone or words that are inappropriate, then I would express my distress by emphasizing how utterly ______ it made me feel. Or how utterly _____ the situation is. Be creative and politically correct. As long as you intend to be sarcastic, then using uncommon vocabulary that makes people say what? is completely appropriate.

I learned from blogging and excessive reading of books and articles online that words are the most powerful form of expression. Sometimes one line is enough to make your point. Sometimes it needs to be sarcastic, sometimes it needs to be well thought of, and sometimes it is just plain joyful to your heart that you did not have to resort to anything other than being clever with words.

At this point on in my life I will be using the power of words to make my point clear to people I know in real life. That’s what I lacked all along that has separated my real life from my blog. I needed to connect the two. I ask my self a lot of why I blog. I am trying to express my self truthfully with the power of words, and I have been having a hard time doing that in real life. However, I just learned that I can express my self in real life the same way I do on my blog. I just have to limit my anger and use the power of sarcasm and proper vocabulary to express a thought quickly. If I only spend 10 – 15 minutes sometimes to write a blog post without having to re-edit what I have published, then I can do the same thing in real life. I just have to use that powerful form of expression. Clever well thought of phrases with a hint of sarcasm!

I have been awake since 2:30 am this morning. I woke up and I couldn’t sleep for the life of me. I wasn’t sleepy. Just wide awake and I put my laptop on my lap and browsed the net till about 5:00 am. I got sleepy then and fell sleep, and bam.. alarm ring rings at 6:30! :annoyed:

I then got to work at 8:00 am, and the small boxed room was BURNING hot. The thermometer read 25 degrees but it was more than that. Anyways, we left at 10 to go to my boss’s farewell BBQ at his place. It was fun, and we ended up playing rock band and rocking out for a bit. It was fun.

I decided to just call him Ex-Boss Man from now on. :spin:

Anyways, later when I got home, I spent it chatting and I was in no mood to shower and get my self extravagantly ready for a wedding shower my mom dragged me to. She kept yelling at me and driving me insane to the point that I just screamed from anger and said to leave me alone! I am 27 years old, LEAVE ME ALONE! I can dress my self, do whatever I want. I am not going there to show off! I don’t care! When we got there, she didn’t know anyone but a couple of people. Yet, she keeps dragging us to these events. We don’t talk to anyone, she doesn’t know the people, usually Lebanese, and all we did is sit there eat, and just leave. It was boring. Beyond boring. The little hall was burning hot too. I couldn’t stand it no more. We just left around 8:15 and that was the end of one crazy day. I am just tired of going out. I want to relax and sleep. One long 8 hours of sleep. Seriously, I don’t remember the last time I had a full night of sleep. Maybe March?

Also, for those who want to know the secret and more vivid events of my daily life, then everything will be revealed soon. Maybe in the next week or two. Only the people who know me personally and I am friends with I keep up to date. They are not mystified by my blog entries. :lol:
