Yes, I am an ARAB who happens to be Palestinian too!

By: Mona
.......................

I was doing some research about historical articles or some facts about Palestine. I was checking out random sites, especially Wikipedia for some tid bits to talk about. I was surprised. I know Palestine (Filistine) is an ancient land that suffered wars, cultural European influences, etc. I know that. However, I keep reading a biased view that the people of Palestine are not native of the soil and of Indo-European decent. They were called the sea people and even ancient Egyptians were afraid of them. Ok, so let’s say we were European. Most of the original inhabits have migrated from Greece. Well duh, we were conquered by the Greeks for years! That’s where the name Filistine came from. However, we were also conquered afterwards by so many ruling powers such as Romans, Egyptians, Babylonians, Arabs, Turks, British, and now Israelis. It’s the land with multiple cultures. If you want to speak of true multiculturalism in the world, you have to point to one place on this earth, Palestine.

However, Arab/Turkish rule was the longest in that land in modern times. Can I say I can trace back my ancestors to be Greek? Not really. I can be more realistic and I can trace back my ancestors to original Arabs from the Arabian peninsula or Turkish. It is more logical, it is more of modern times where the inhabitants were last scene and owned the land. That’s how far I can go. People 3000 years ago didn’t stay in the same spot. Immigration is part of history. You can’t go back 3000 years ago and say that these people are still the same people. It’s so hard to keep track and make a logical conclusion of that.

We are Arabs. That’s it. Our modern language and religion is that of the Arabian people. We are Semitic. I don’t know why the world is trying to dig deep in history to try to disprove that and make us appear as the land didn’t belong to us, but really, aren’t we all humans? Didn’t we really originate from one place? Who cares if we are Semitic or Aryan. We are all humans in God’s eyes and all judged the same. It just happens that we the Palestinians were cursed since ancient times to always suffer due to the significance of our holy land and the never ending conquests. I think we need a brake. Seriously.

I completely understand your point. It’s a moot point to say that the Arabs occupying Palestine aren’t the original people. But then what if they are? Aren’t Arabs descended from Ishmael? I have a question: were they saying that the original people were Indo Europeans or that they weren’t? What’s up with the word Indo European anyway? I personally don’t believe in those language groupings because their intertwined with Eurocentric biased values that confuse race with language. I think Europeans are trying to suggest that Middle Easterners are from THEM instead of allowing Middle Easterners to have their own origin. Eurocentrism is so very annoying.

I think the oldest Palestinians were the Can3anites, they predate the jews migrating from Egypt, but the point is moot:
    1. it can’t be proven now
    2. The Israelis of today have nothing to do with the Israelis that left Egypt
    3. The modern state of Israel is now 60 years old, soon the Israelis that came as conquerors will all be dead and all the ones there will actually be born there of parents who were also born there. How will we tell them it’s not their land then ?

“I don’t know why the world is trying to dig deep in history to try to disprove that and make us appear as the land didn’t belong to us”

Cause we need something to do. Look through history, people cannot sit still they always have to enslave, butcher, or invade something. Power hungry nut jobs are everywhere at anytime.

“Didn’t we really originate from one place?”

Yes. So far that is Africa, where the oldest human remains have been found. Then when the population grew, we ventured out and now… we’ve become this. :(

“Who cares if we are Semitic or Aryan.”

I’ve heard a lot of jackasses run their mouths on this. Saying this certain group of people are naturally evil because of this. Truth is they know nothing and only spout non-sense due to a fear of others being more powerful or knowledgable than them. I get slammed with Satanist because I know a couple, have long hair, and don’t agree with the majority belief of what certain religion group believes.

“We are all humans in God’s eyes and all judged the same.”

We may be judged the same but I’m sure even God must look at some people and just say, “Why?”. There are a lot of people I myself don’t consider human, not because of beliefs or skin pigment, but their actions.

“It just happens that we the Palestinians were cursed since ancient times to always suffer due to the significance of our holy land and the never ending conquests. I think we need a brake. Seriously.”

It’s coming, atleast I believe so. Many prophecies are being fulfilled and are coming close to an end. Atleast 3 big ones that I’ve been looking into will be fulfilled around the same time, year 2012. Nostradamus, The Prophecy of the Popes, and the Mayan End Time.

I was tempted to type this with the first message but thought it would be long and boring… okay, give me a second.

Nostradamus was a French [prophet, though he didn't like this term himself] born in 1503, he made tons of predictions through quatrains. These quatrains have been translated and many have be connected to world events, things like the 9/11 incident have been connected to on ef his predictions. He also predicted the day he would die, and wore an amulet in his tomb with the date his resting place would be opened by grave robbers, he was right on both. The World Wars have been connected to him. Hitler has been connected through a quatrain. He has also quite a bit on the three Anti-Christ which have emerged over time, Hitler being one. With a book devoted to his End Time prediction. The constellation of Ophiucus will align with the sun and the world will be wrapped in fire. The center of Ophucius is also the center of our galaxy, and the sun aligning with this happens only once every 12,000 years, if I’m not mistaken. Though his way of writing is fairly metaphorical, he has a pretty good chance of hitting the money. His end time suggested a war between east and west, so… A plane hit America and now America wants to level everything in the East, so naturally the Middle Eastern Area as well as Asia will probably fight back. This war won’t be short and won’t be contained. It will stretch and be a world war, lets just hope nukes or A/H-bombs don’t get involved :dead:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nostradamus

There is a lot more than a Wiki article on him, but anything involving him on the internet is not to be trusted with 100% accuracy.

The Mayan End Times suggest the time when the calendar for this time will wrap up, this is due to take place around December 21-23 of 2012 (The same time Nostradamus’ prediction will occur as well). This is where the world will go through an amazing change in the way it thinks and acts, if you haven’t learned by now to think differently with an open mind and start to analyze everything, start now. Really not much is now of the Mayans, except they had a perfect calendar system, which relied of three separate calendars. They also made other predictions, which have be fulfilled more than once. But only 2 of their written documents survived the fires that were used to destroy everything “satanic” when they were being converted to Christianity. SO not much is known :(

Wikipedia is a good place to start, but I would also suggest a public library or other web sites if you’re interested.

Hmm… submitted twice but it won’t show up… mayeb it was too long?

Anyways, just go on Wikipedia and that should get you a good base to start from.

Nostradamus, was a French seer from around the 1500s, he is creditted with predicting the World Wars, the 9/11 incident, the current War, his own death/grave robbing, and MANY others. He had a complete book devoted to some mor ehorrible events, including the final days.

    Mayan End Times

One of the few things we know about the Mayans was they had a perfect calendar. Their calendar was comprised of three smaller calendars itself. They said once the calendar finished (Dec. 21-23, 2012) the world will enter the next phase. Unfortunately not much more is known seeing as only 2 written documents form them escaped the fires while they were being converted to Christianity :(

Some more general End Time predictions, including the Hopi Natives, Islam, Christian, etc.

I agree with the author we do need a break. But as long as there is palestinian land being confiscated i think we should give em hell.

This region went through many wars, and for the past 60 years it has not known peace.
