Question the questionable

By: Mona
.......................

What will happen with the world if people started thinking and actually questioning everything that goes around them?

The media has blinded millions of people of the truth because most of the population of the world doesn’t think or doesn’t want to think. What will happen if each of them started to use their intelligence and question the illogical? Wouldn’t that be the day. I think revolution wouldn’t be enough to describe what will happen, and not even a rebellion. Maybe it will be something more. A world wide change of the injustice and media influence. People will not be silent anymore.

Do you ever think of what’s going on in the world and say, “why“?

last time i asked that question, i was replied because the sky was so high… and that is the reason why people stopped asking – why!

so why did jack climb the bean stalk and why did jill come tumbling after… why do you think we have philosophers for? why is the food thrown in the garbage when there are millions starving.. so why are criminals prosecuted when there is no space in the prisons… why did I get this hair cut????

I ask why all the time and get always the same answer: don’t think so much, they say, you think way too much.
I try not to think and it works, that’s why I’ve become what I am. Or was it the other way around?
Don’t ask me how I got here, I forget. But nice to meet rebellious girl. I live under Inner Judge’s custody.

Why do I still come here?!

    But seriosuly…
Asking why is a part of my everyday life. Those that don’t ask about thier world, are oblivious to it and a complete waste. Asking why gets people’s attention, whether good or bad. Askign why can save an innocent’s life, and asking why can get you killed. Why, is a very powerful word. One that has become more neglected and forgotten as time has passed. Why?

Why is money so f***ing important when innocent people are dieing? Why should a drunk dirver not get charged with at least attempted murder? Why do people ignore the obvious dangers and care only about their economical standings? Why do we need politicians? Why can’t people just grow up and get along? Why do they neddlessly hunt harmless animals to extinction? Why are people never satisfied with what they have? Why does a Native tribe have to be recognized by the goverment before they are given any of the freedom they used to have? Why has America survived this long? Why has’t the end came yet? Why can’t I go to sleep at night like everyone else? Why can’t I just ignore the atroscities that happen everyday? Why do I have to suffer with this? Why doesn’t the rest of the world? Why do I have to wait to enjoy life? Why do I even have to ask why? Why can’t I be happy?

If people really questioned everything all religions would die within moments. If they question logic they all would without a doubt as 90% of people are born into a religion.

I think there would also be a very big rebellion everywhere and a lot of people would die in it.

I also believe in 50-100 years we would be back to where we are now… in the end we all need leaders and people need to be controlled… Without laws, control there is anarchy.

I do not agree with all this control and this Big Brother style thing that is taking everything over (1984 anyone?) but I do see its reason…. If people want to be sheep and do what they are told then who am I to tell them its wrong? Maybe its a good thing for us people who dont follow the system.

Questioning things can lead to thinking, thinking can lead to evaluating, evaluating to comparison, comparison to bitterness, disappointment, disgrace, discouragement, disbelief, anger, frustration, hatred, and war. Come, swim with me in the pool of ignorant bliss, where everyone is beautiful, rich and accomplished. Where everyone can own whatever they want, where everyone is well fed, overweight, overpaid, over endowed, come to the pool of drugs, drunkenness and advertising. Delude yourself with me, just for this blissful instant of insanity. Life is really quite ugly. Thinking and seeing realistically doesn’t make it better, buy a big Chev – and dream the American Dream! My Arab Princess.
