Once at a university I was work at, I was working late and went for a stroll around the building. I came across a small room that was totally empty, nothing in it at all, but a nice view of the university main building (a large Gothic building). Anyway, the next day I found a notice on the door saying "HR Personnel Only". Yes, someone had seen me go in there, and had nothing better to do than figuratively piss on the door and make sure the world knew that this empty room was HR property and no one else was allowed near it. HR Personnel are known throughout the world as generally being the most useless people around. Once at a university I was work at, I was working late and went for a stroll around the building. I would rather visit the doctor or dentist than go on a job interview. Like you, I have been on many job interviews and I have tales to tell of rude and weird people. What I particularly hate are those employers who don't read my resume first before they call me up and set up an appointment. They end reading my resume fully for the first time while I am sitting right there in front of them and then realize that I wasn't quite what they were looking for. I am thinking like gee thanks for wasting my time and money by having me drag my sorry ass into Toronto. I find that the vaguer a job ad I apply to the more likelihood that something like that happens to me. I could go on and on about all the weird people I have met. I particularly like the woman who crushed my hand when I shook hands with her. It was all I could do not to yelp in pain. I also liked the idiot who asked me if my ancestors were from Britain. Gee nothing like asking irrelevant and illegal questions. My experiences probably could make a nice interesting post for my blog. :p: Nobody likes job hunting.
