Guest Post: Ranting against my co-workers

My rant:
I’m rebelling against the influx of whiny a-holes that I have to listen to everyday as I try to sit quietly and not do any work while I’m at work. I would even make a deal with my boss; I’ll actually do some work while I’m here if you can stop people here in ‘Cube Land’ from sucking the life out of me. These fluorescent lights are enough!
I’m so sick of listening to all those ‘Emo-Kids’ whining about their life and how crappy it is that they are forced to live in the suburbs with their SUV driving parents who work at financial firm XXX and make a shit load of money. Enjoy it while it lasts!
What I’d like to see is what they are going to rebel against once their parents kick their sorry butts out of the house for being a lazy bum and they have to live in the real world, not in the air-conditioned finished basement with a big-screen TV and video games.
I will relate this to the current trend of seeing a therapist and taking massive amounts of anti-depressants. Life SUCKS sometimes, get over it. Tomorrow will be a better day, or, perhaps a rain of shit is coming your way for the next year. Deal with it. Stop being such a pussy, everybody’s life sucks just as much as yours. You are NOT the only one! Most of us normal human beings just bottle up all our discontent, until finally we explode and throw a fork at a family member during dinner. That, my friend, is the way to deal with your issues, not spending $100/hour to ‘talk it out’ with a therapist, and then go and tell everyone that you just saw a shrink, now expecting the pity. People need to shut the fuck up and get on with their lives.
To end my rant on these leaches and bringer-downers of society I’m going to throw a stapler at my co-worker in the cube across from me in an attempt to get him to stop bitching about his shitty life.
Thwack!!

Thank You.
I’m not going to attack one group, but the group of kids you mentioned are pathetic. Most of them haven’t had hard lives, have been given everything they need and the only hardships in their lives; they brought on themselves in the first place. You summarized it pretty well and I can’t stand the whining and bitching, everyone has problems.
Oh yeah…I hope you did throw that stapler and knock some sense into them.
He he. Yeah, my one question is if you did throw the stapler or not. That would be interesting!
Life never suck..
A person who think life suck is sucker…

I agree. Spending most of your life unhappy (at work) is such a waste of life. Think about it: how many hours are you at work per day? Add it all up and think about how many days, weeks, months, years you spend in a bad mood! Do you really want to look back on your life later on and think to yourself, “Half my life was shit.”
LOL! Right on! You have the right attitude. Life does suck sometimes so everybody quit your whining. I couldn’t of said it better myself. :whee:
