Well, I am a man an I have to agree with you. I personally would hate to be married to a girl that would not have her own character and personality. I would simply get bored by "yes dear" and "of course honey". I hate that.

I can so relate to your post. when I was over seas, my uncles couldn't take me talking back (as they callled it). Just because I had a different opinion about something they were saying, it was considered talking back. They were like just because you lived in America doesnt mean you can talk back, and that I should act like my other girl cousins and just agree with whatever they said.

I agree with your Mona. Society is double-standard because people set that. I believe that as long as you are not violating someone's right nor hurting somebody, do what you want, dress how you want and as comfortable as you can get, enjoy what makes you happy. Age is just a number. It's just a reminder for us and that's it.

I agree with you. There is that milestone that everyone has to reach and somewhat change on their own. Nothing is set in stone, but we work hard on our personalities and life objectives. That way when we reach a milestone we feel different and unconsciously begin to change because we had enough life experiences before hand.

I don't like it when people tell someone to act or dress their age unless they're doing something beyond their abilities.

Anyway, I would say knowing someone's age, in general, not the exact year, tells you something about them.

For instance reaching 30 is a milestone. It's the beginning of the end of youth. By that age people tend to have gained enough confidence to be themselves and care less about being accepted at the expense of their own happiness. Some of us get there sooner than others.
