ALO! What? I can’t hear you!

Google Buzz

One thing I can’t stand is talking to someone long distance. I hear them just fine, and they can’t hear me unless I AM SCREAMING! So I talked to my mom in Lebanon, and she kept asking me what I wanted.

So I pretty much told her I want one thing only, which is Arabic eye liner or powder or crayon pencil. She kept saying, “WHAT?” I said, “you either get me the powder or the crayon. Other than that DON’T get me ANYTHING!” She said, “you want the crayon pencil so you can look like Haifa Wahbe?” I said, “what does HAIFA have to do with this! I have sensitive eyes, and I am running out!”

On the mention of Haifa, my best friend hates her with a passion! I think it is because 90% of Arab males are gaga over her. Me, I don’t care! She is Haifa! :lmao:

Believe me, I am not trying to promote her, she doesn’t need it!

All I have been doing lately is watching Arabic TV. We have 3 Arabic music channels on satellite. So yah… It is interesting! As for Haifa… well, I guess you don’t even need to speak Arabic or understand her. Most men just mute the TV and watch her.

For me, I actually like this song. I don’t know why!
P.S. Lisa don’t hate me!

    I hate Haifa
She has neither singing nor artistic talents, all I can say is RIZK ELHEBL 3ALMAJANEEN
Fortunately for her she found lots of HEBLS who are ready to pay for her other talents.

lol… I love this phrase Mohammad, “RIZK ELHEBL 3ALMAJANEEN.” You are very right! She has zero talents.. but some of her songs are hilarious and you think.. oh God.. only a person like her would sing such a song! lol Believe me.. she isn’t any better than Nancy or other habal out there. All fake and go by looks.

did that wat make ya get confused ?
    (( i am a guy )) wallah zalamah !!

bout the part that she dont have a talent wats so ever , now that i dont agree on ( b4 u go chasin’ me with yer qob-qab lol let me explain )
she is an ( art – object ) with fetuers
    and she is honest :
when tony khalefah asked her ( if she consider her self an artist she replied that she is a show girl that use’s her seductrive talents ) — unlike other new faces who claim genuine art !!
whether its ( boos el wawa ) or ( aby fawq el shajarah ) arab music style is like any other ( filled with originals and some punk )
take so’ad hosny and her ( ultra mini-skirt ! ) in many black ‘n’ white movies , and compare her with …lets say ( somayah el khashab ! ).
or why dont we take om kalthom ( over-rated ) vocal talent and compare it with kloda el shamaly or nansy ajram !!
    the point is
unfortunatly the wave is not self-maed , our fathers in the early 70’s liked so’ad hosny performance so they opened the market for wannabees like hayfa and many more

Aah.. now I get ya! Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that’s why I said my best friend hates her. Just to show the rest of the world that yah, people hate her! For me, I am neutral… I don’t care. I only hate fake people who try too hard. And I remember that Tony Khaleefah episode and what she said. She cried in that one too eh?

i know dis is irreleveant ( is dat the right spelling ?) but u shod consider this mona :
the more u sow how much sophisticated ‘n’ smart u r , the bigger circle of haters will be
and from wat i read u really spare nothin’ 2 underline tha fat fact that u r one tough real open minded ‘n’ brave knowledge seeker.
    —
i loved it when tony made her cry , that was smart from him ( at least in a media prospictive ).
these days we have a replica program called ( el 3arrab = the godfather ) which is basicaly :
bashin a celebrity with tonz of private quiz’s ‘n’ dont lemme start on the decoration = eeewwww !!

I do watch el 3arrab. I love the questions he ask the celebs. A lot of episodes of el 3arrab or (العراب) are on YouTube. My favorite one that I watched is George Wassouf. I am not a fan of him at all. I never was. But watching him on there being so honest and throwing back comments and saying.. roo7 yaah.. inta walad!! lool That was classic. I swear. Media in the Arab world is hilarious!

I swear.. every time I read the last part “viva la rebelliousarabgirl,” I feel that you are the leader of my fan club or like you said, “blog manager.” 7elow.. lol I don’t watch Nour.. my mom does. I didn’t get into it cause it is a never ending soap opera big time! For English shows? Hmm. I don’t know. I am not really a follower I guess.
